Jeanette Winfrey is a native and lifelong resident of Southeast Texas. She is a graduate of Beaumont High School and Chenier’s Business School. Jeanette has an indepth knowledge of the area and its rich culture and loves sharing this with newcomers to Southeast Texas.
Jeanette was an accountant by trade and worked in corporate offices for many years. For the last 15 years she has worked alongside her husband, Doug Winfrey, in their homebuilding business. She is thoroughly grounded in all aspects of new construction from the selection of plans all the way through to finishing touches. She coordinates all colors, selects fixtures and designs cabinetry. Their company enjoys a stellar reputation in the area and was named Builder of the Year by the Builder’s Association of Southeast Texas. Jeanette and Doug take great pride in their product and form enduring relationships with many of the purchasers of their homes.
Jeanette and Doug have four grown daughters and thirteen grandchildren. They enjoy following all the grandchildren in their various sports. They also have a longstanding interest in racing thoroughbreds all over the country. But most of their leisure time is spent in researching house plans, keeping abreast of new trends, and attending workshops and seminars.
Jeanette’s enthusiasm is written all over her face when the subject is real estate. She clearly is passionate about what she does and is excited to be able to help the whole gamut of buyers and sellers, from first timers to the most experienced relocating families. Her ultimate goal is simply “to find everyone a home that they can be comfortable in whatever their needs may be.”
