A native and life-long resident of Beaumont, Julie Oszczakiewicz Cokinos knows her way around, not just town, but all of Southeast Texas. Julie's extensive knowledge of the area enables her to provide a comprehensive overview to her clients.
Julie credits her large, close family with motivating her to choose this career path. A Realtor since 1999, Julie has been a Multi-Million dollar producer from the first year and has won "Salesperson of the Month" awards numerous times. Her warm personality and sparkling sense of humor earn plaudits from clients who describe her as friendly, courteous, prompt, thorough and always attentive to their needs and desires. She was awarded the "Community Service Award" in 2009.
A dedicated and hard-working Community volunteer, Julie is a past ambassador of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, former Vice President of the Beaumont Ballet, former Member of the Beaumont Symphony Guild, United Way Speakers' Bureau and the Southeast Texas Press Club. She was also Community Development Director for the Beaumont Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Julie is known in diverse circles in the Community, both through her volunteer work and the involvement of her large multi-talented family in the Restaurant business and the engineering and medical fields. Sister Suzanne and husband, Rick Grable, Exxon engineer, own Chula Vista Mexican Restaurant, Sister Mary and husband Bryan, have the elegant fine-dining restaurant Bryans 797 and the new Bistro Le Monde. Bryan and Mary are also developing Metropolitan Park, a concept unique to this area. Julie's father, a Lamar graduate, founded Omega Engineering, a recognized consulting firm. Michael Oszczakiewicz, Julie's brother (aka Dr. Oz) is a nationally recognized Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon.
Julie believes that family is the basis of everything good in her life. She is the mother of son Thomas, 19, a sophomore at Lamar and daughter Christina, and grandmother to adorable Elizabeth Ann, 7, a second-grader at St. Anne.
When Julie was an international representative for a Fortune 100 Office Products Company, she traveled the United States and Canada, often visiting 6 major cities in a month. This experience created an even greater appreciation of home and family. She is fond of saying, "Makes no difference how glamorous or exciting the city or setting, everyone yearns for that place called "home." Let Julie help you find yours.
